| Abstract: | Kabupaten Karo merupakan salah satu sentra produksi tanaman cabai di Propinsi Sumatra Utara. Hal ini di karenakan tanaman cabai paling sesuai di tanam di tanah yang gembur dengan keasaman 5,5-6,8. Kabupaten Karo merupakan salah satu daerah yang mempunyai tanah yang _gembur dengan keasaman 5,5-6,8. Tetapi, tanaman cabai di Kabupaten Karo bukan merupakan tanaman utama yang di tanam oleh petani. Karo Regency is one of the centers for chili production in Indonesia North Sumatra Province. This is because chili plants are most suitable for plant in loose soil with acidity 5.5-6.8. Karo Regency is an area that has loose soil acidity 5.5-6.8. However, chili plants in Karo Regency are not the main crops grown by farmers. |
