dc.description.abstract | Menurunnya produksi cabai merah di Sumatera Utara disebabkan oleh berkurangnya Juas panen, serangan hama penyakit dan kurang tersedianya unsur hara yang ada di dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai merah berrnikoriza dengan aplikasi biochar dan pupuk kimia. Penelitian dilakukan di Gang Metcu Desa Guru Singa Kecamatan Berastagi Kabupaten Karo yang dilakukan pada tanggal 24 Mei 2015 sampai 27 November 2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama yaitu dosis Biochar (A) dengan 4 tarafyaitu A= 0 kg biochar I m2 ; A1 = 0,5 kg biochar I m2 ; A2 = 1 kg biochar I m2 ; A3 = 1,5 kg biochar I m2 • Faktor kedua yaitu jumlah pupuk kimia (B) dengan 4 taraf yaitu B0 = 0% dosis anjuran ; B1 = I 00% dosis anjuran ; B2 = 75% dosis anjuran ; B3 = 50% dosis anjuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian biochar kendaga dan cangkang biji karet dan pupuk kimia dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman,diameter batang) dan produksi (jumlah buah, bobot buah) tanaman cabai rnerah berrnikoriza. Decreased production of red chilli in North Sumatera caused by land area, pests and diseases are less availability nutrient elements in the soil. This study aims to determine growth and yield of red chili bermikoriza with biochar and fertilizer applications. The study was conducted in the village of Gang Metcu, Singa District of Berastagi Karo performed on 24 May 2015 through 26 November 2015. The method used in this study is a Randomized Factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the dose Biochar (A) with 4 levels ei A = 0 biochar kg I m2; Biochar AI = 0.5 kg I m2; Biochar A2 = I kg I m2; Biochar A3= 1.5 kg I m2. The second factor is the qmount of chemical fertilizer (B) with 4 levels ie BO = 0% the recommended dose; BJ = 100% the recommended dose; B2= 75% of the recommended dose; B3 =50% of the recommended dose. The results showed that the treatment provision of biochar and chemical fertilizers can increase growth (plant height, stem diameter) and production(number of fruit, fruit weight) of red pepper plant bermikoriza. | en_US |
