dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk Rhizoplex dan berbagai jenis mulsa terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang batak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area. Jalan PBSI No.1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang dengan ketinggian tempat 22 meter diatas permukaan laut dan jenis tanah alluvial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni - September 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 2 perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 4 taraf. Perlakuan Pupuk Rhizolex (R): R0= Kontrol (tanpa perlakuan); R1= 100 g/plot; R2= 200 g/plot; R3= 300 g/plot. Perlakuan Berbagai jenis mulsa (M): M0= Kontrol (Tanpa Perlakuan); M1= (mulsa batang pisang); M2= (mulsa jerami padi); M3= (mulsa eceng gondok). Parameter pengamatan terdiri dari: Tinggi Tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), jumlah umbi per tanaman sampel (suing), bobot umbi per tanaman sampel (g), bobot umbi per plot (g). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perlakuan pupuk Rhizoplex memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi per tanaman sampel, dan bobot umbi per tanaman sampel. Dan memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata pada bobot umbi per plot. Pada perlakuan pemberian mulsa memberikan hasil yang tidak nyata pada semua parameter yang di amati. Pada kombinasi pemberian pupuk Rhizolex dan berbgai jenis mulsa juga memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata pada semua parameter yang di amati. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of applying Rhizoplex fertilizer and various types of mulch on the growth and production of Batak onion plants. This research was carried out at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Medan Area University. Jalan PBSI No.1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency with a height of 22 meters above sea level and alluvial soil type. This research was carried out in June - September 2023. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) method which consisted of 2 treatments and each treatment consisted of 4 levels. Rhizolex Fertilizer Treatment (R): R0= Control (no treatment); R1= 100 g/plot; R2= 200 g/plot; R3= 300 g/plot. Treatment Various types of mulch (M): M0= Control (No Treatment); M1= (banana stem mulch); M2= (rice straw mulch); M3= (water hyacinth mulch). The observation parameters consist of: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tubers per sample plant (suing), tuber weight per sample plant (g), tuber weight per plot (g). The results of this study showed that Rhizoplex fertilizer treatment had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per sample plant, and tuber weight per sample plant. And it has a very real influence on the weight of tubers per plot. The mulching treatment gave unreal results for all the parameters observed. The combination of Rhizolex fertilizer and various types of mulch also had an insignificant effect on all the parameters observed.en_US
