The title of this research is the effect of variations in roller mass and drive pulley tilt angle on a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) on four strokes engine performance. This research is motivated by the fact that as time goes by, the performance of a 2022 Honda automatic motorbike will decrease, so something needs to be done to improve engine performance again. The aim of this research was to analyze the effect of roller mass and tilt angle on four stroke engine performance using the RSM (Response surface Methodology) method on automatic motorbikes in 2022. In this research, the effect of using variations in roller mass and primary pulley tilt angle on engine performance and specific fuel consumption on 2022 automatic motorbikes is analyzed. Then the data obtained will be processed using the RSM (Response surface Methodology) method. The results of data processing using the response surface methodology (RSM) method were processed using the response surface optimizer feature in Minitab 20.3 software to achieve maximum performance, namely power of 5.59838 kW, torque of 10.3988N.m and Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) amounting to 14.6002 with a composite desirability value of 0.895763 by setting parameters on the roller of 15.1928 grams, with a drive pulley tilt angle of 14.2071 degrees. | en_US |
