dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium Hama & Penyak:it serta rumah kaca milik Balai Karantina Tumbuhan Belawan -di jalan Sulawesi II Belawan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan Agustus 2002. Tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahu-i do sis efektif -dari fumigan Aluminium phosphide terhadap mortalitas serangga Sitophilus oryzae dan Tribolium castaneum. {2) Untuk mengetahui efek fumigan Aluminium Phosphide terhadap viabilitas benih-benih tanaman. (3) Untuk mengetahui efek fumigan Aluminium Phosphide terhadap penampilan tumbuh-dari benih - benih tanaman uji. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan 3 kali ulangan. Analisis data -dilakukan dengan sidik ragam serta dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak Duncan. Peubah yang diamati meliputi tingkat kematian serangga gudang Tribolium castaneum dan Sitophilus oryzae, persentase perkecambahan benih, laju perkecambahan dan pengamatan langsung bentuk penampilan tumbuh benih dalam Pot Plastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dosis 1.5 g/m3 3.0 g/m3 dan -6.0 g/m3 berpengaruh beda sangat nyata terhadap mGrtalitas hama Sitophilus oryzae dan Tribolium castaneum . Perlakuan dosis tersebut berpengaruh terhadap tingkat daya kecambah {viabilitas) benih tanaman Padi, Jagung dan Sawi tidak berbeda nyata demikian juga pengaruhnya terbadap penampilan tumbuh benih tanaman di dalam Pot Plastik juga tidak -berbeda nyata. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa dosis 1.5 g/m3 temyata sudah cukup efektif untuk menekan populasi hmm gudang. Pada semua -dosis yang diuji ( 1.5 g/m3 ,3.0 g/m3 dan 6.0 g/m3 ) tidak memperlihatkan pengaruh yang nyata terbadap daya kecambah, laju perkecambahan dan bentuk penampilan tumbuh benih tanaman . This research was carried out in the Pest & Disease laboratory and at home glass belonging to the Belawan Plant Quarantine Center - on Jalan Sulawesi II Belawan on June to August 2002. The research objectives are: (1) To determine the effective dose of the fumigant Aluminum phosphide on the mortality of Sitophilus oryzae and Tribolium insects castaneum. {2) To determine the effect of Aluminum Phosphide fumigant on viability of plant seeds. (3) To determine the effects of Aluminum fumigants Phosphide on the sprout-from-seed performance of test plant seeds. This research was structured using a completely randomized design with 4 3 repetitions of treatment. Data analysis - carried out using variance and analysis followed by the Duncan distance test. The variables observed included the death rate of Tribolium barn insects castaneum and Sitophilus oryzae, seed germination percentage, rate germination and direct observation of the appearance form of growing seeds in Plastic Pots. The research results showed that the use of doses of 1.5 g/m3 and 3.0 g/m3 -6.0 g/m3 has a very significant effect on the mGrtality of the pest Sitophilus oryzae and Tribolium castaneum. The dosage treatment affects the level The germination capacity (viability) of rice, corn and mustard seeds is not significantly different Likewise, the effect on the appearance of growing plant seeds in the pot Plastic is also not -noticeably different. Observation results show that a dose of 1.5 g/m3 is sufficient effective in suppressing the warehouse hmm population. At all -doses tested (1.5 g/m3 ,3.0 g/m3 and 6.0 g/m3 ) does not show a real effect on power sprouts, germination rate and appearance of growing plant seeds.en_US
