For Muslim consumers, of course they have to consume food products packaging that is halal and does not conflict with Islamic teachings. So that they will feel comfortable and calm because of the packaged food products consumed as recommended by religion. The word halal itself comes from from Arabic which means permitted, permitted by Islamic law. Product issues Halal is nothing new in efforts to accommodate the interests of the majority Indonesian Muslim consumers. However, formally this seems to impress receiving less attention in the context of enforcing protection laws consumers in Indonesia. Considering the packaged food products produced various forms, it is necessary to legalize and standardize products from LPPOM MUI, can at least protect food products produced suitable for use or consumption by Muslims. |
