dc.description.abstract | Faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi tanaman cabai adalah organisme utama pengganggu tanaman (OPT) khususnya patogen dari kelompok virus. Virus yang menyerang perkebunan cabai adalah Pepper yellow leaf curl virus (PepYLCV) yang disebabkan oleh gemini virus yang ditransmisikan oleh kutu kebul (Bemisia tabaci Genn). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi ekstrak kulit buah aren (Arenga pinnata) dapat menjadi bahan aktif dalam mendekstruktif jaringan kutu kebul (Bemisia tabaci). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dan deskriptif menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pemberian ekstrak kulit buah A.pinnata perlakuan A1 konsentrasi 5% (95ml etanol 96%+5ml ekstrak A.pinnata) sudah mengalami kematian sebesar 100% dalam kurun waktu 12 jam. Hasil analis probit LC50 pada konsentrasi 2.545% ekstrak etanol kulit buah A.pinnata dapat membunuh 50% B. tabaci setelah perlakuan 12 jam. Kemudian diperoleh LC90 pada konsentrasi 3.406% ekstrak etanol kulit buah A. Pinnata dapat membunuh 90% B. tabaci setelah perlakuan 12 jam. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah konsentrasi ekstrak yang efektif untuk pengendalian Bemisia tabaci dengan menggunakan uji analisis probit adalah konsentrasi 2,545% dengan dikonfirmasi oleh uji mikroskopik pada bemisia tabaci terhadap ekstrak kulit buah A. pinnata. Factors that influence the production of chili plants are the main plant pest organisms (OPT), especially pathogens from the virus group. The virus that attacks chili plantations is Pepper yellow leaf curl virus (PepYLCV) which is caused by the gemini virus which is transmitted by the whitefly (Bemisia tabaci Genn). The research aims to determine the potential of sugar palm (Arenga pinnata) skin extract as an active ingredient in destroying whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) tissue. The research method used was an experimental and descriptive method using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The results of the research showed that administration of A. pinnata fruit peel extract with A1 treatment at a concentration of 5% (95 ml of 96% ethanol + 5 ml of A. pinnata extract) resulted in 100% mortality within 12 hours. The results of LC50 probit analysis at a concentration of 2.545% ethanol extract of A. pinnata fruit peel can kill 50% of B. tabaci after 12 hours of treatment. Then obtained LC90 at a concentration of 3.406% ethanol extract of A. Pinnata fruit peel can kill 90% of B. tabaci after 12 hours of treatment. The conclusion of this research is that the effective extract concentration for controlling Bemisia tabaci using the probit analysis test is a concentration of 2.545% which was confirmed by microscopic tests on Bemisia tabaci against A. pinnata fruit peel extract. | en_US |
