The Savonius windmill research aims to determine its characteristics a/iran on the Savonius rotor with certain overlap changes. Research that carried out in the form of visualization of oil flow patterns (a mixture of vegetable oil, titanium powder, type A thinner, and silicon oil), and the smoke method (with heating the residual oil through an electrified nichrome wire) on each specific overlap. Dimensions of the Savonius rotor test model used is (d)=80 mm and height (t)=200 mm.en_US
