dc.description.abstract | Pada Iingkungan kerja penyulingan gas, obyektif utamanya adalah untuk mengambil, memisahkan dan memproses minyak bumi dan gas. Kegiatan operasional tersebut harus dilakukan secara terkendali agar kemungkinan terancamnya manusia dan property oleh bahaya dapat dirninimalkan dan keselamatan setiap anggota terjamin. Banyak peristiwa sering terjadi dari beberapa peristiwa kecil yang melibatkan "Segitiga Api"yaitu: Bahan bakar, sumber pemicu panas dan sumber oxygen Saat energy listrik digunakan dalam proses operasional, selalu saja ada bahaya percikan listrik atau suhu yang berlebihan yang bisa memicu gas atau substansi rentan api lainnya dengan resiko serius sampai pada tingkat ekskalasi masalah yang lebih tinggi. Untuk meminimalkan resiko tersebut, kita akan membedakan bahaya dan resiko serta pentingnya mengambil tindakan pencegahan untuk merninirnalkan bahaya terhadap rnanusia dan property yang timbul dari pengoprasian perangkat listrik di Iingkungan dengan potensi kebakaran dan ledakan serta enclosure yang menutupi perangkat listrik harus didesain untuk rnemastikan tidak akan ada substansi yang dapat terpicu, sehingga bahaya kebakaran dan ledakan dapat dihindari.
