dc.description.abstract | Degradasi performance adalah penurunan kinerja mesin refrigerasi yang disebabkan oleh lapisan bunga es yang menempel pada kabin evaporator yang menyebabkan proses penyerapan panas terhadap produk yang akan didinginkan terhambat, sehingga energi panas yang terkandung dalam produk tidak terserap maksimal. Untuk itu penulis melakukan simulasi perhitungan secara teoritis dengan grafik pada tebal bunga es 0 mm, 5 mm, dan 10 mm pada kabin mesin pendingin (freezer). Untuk kine.tja mesin refrigrasi normal diperoleh 5,850 sedangkan untuk kinerja mesin refrigrasi dengan ketebalan bunga es 5 mm diperoleh 5,68 dan untuk ketebalan bunga es 10 mm diperoleh 3,5928 dengan kabin dan kapasitas yang sama. Jadi dari data yang didapat di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketebalan lapisan bunga es sangat mempengaruhi kinerja mesin refrigrasi (pendingin). Degradasi Performance is degradation of performance by machine refrigerasi which is because of coat of frost which patch at cabin evaporator causing hot absorbtion process to product to be made cool to be pursued, so that energi heat which implied in the product is not permeated maximal. For that frost writer the calculation simulation theoretically with the graph at thick of frost 0 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm at cabin of cooler machine (freezer). For the performance of obtained by normal machine refrigrasi 5,850 while for the performance of machine refrigrasi thickly is frost 5 mm obtained by 5,68 and to be thick of frost 10 mm obtained by 3,5928 with the same capacities and cabin.
