The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method with a sample size of 10 families, while data collection was carried out by means of interviews and questionnaires. Based on research results, the current price of harvested dry grain (GKP) for lowland rice, which is still at IDR 5,000/kg, means that lowland rice farmers can meet their basic needs. However, in Balodano Village, most of the harvested dry grain (GKP) is not sold, which means that the harvested dry grain is produced by yourself until it becomes rice and then the rice is sold at a price of IDR 9,615/Kg. The conclusion of this research is that the social conditions of lowland rice farmers in Balodano Village, North Mandrehe District are classified as different and quite good. Judging from the age level, Balodano Village is still productive as a farmer, namely 41-56 years. The average education of rice farmers in Balodano Village is high school graduate.
