Abstract: Pada saat ini terdapat banyak perkara tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh anak, maka dari itu, demi mencegah dan menanggulangi permasalahan yang ada dengan melaksanakan penyelenggaraan Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak (Juvenile Criminal Justice System) yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 Tentang Sistem Peradilan Anak, yakni proses penyelesaian perkara tindak pidana anak melalui pendekatan “Keadilan Restorative (Restorative Justice)”. Permasalahan tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh anak terjadi di Desa Cinta Raja Kecamatan Secanggang Kabupaten Langkat, kasus tersebut ialah pencurian brondolan sawit di PT Buana Estate di Desa Cinta Raja Kecamatan Secanggang Kabupaten Langkat. Meskipun kasus pencurian kelapa sawit yang jumlah nominalnya tidak banyak, akan tetapi hal tersebut tetaplah bertentangan dengan hukum pidana. tujuan penelitian untung mengetahui pengaturan restorative justice di Indonesia dan bagaimana implementasi mediasi di Polsek Secangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian empiris yang dilakukan di Polsek Secangga. Hasil penelitian menyatakan Pengaturan hukum dalam penanganan tindak pidana anak berdasarkan restorative justice diatur dalam Pasal 5 Undang-Undang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak menegaskan Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak wajib mengutamakan pendekatan keadilan restoratif. dilakukan upaya mediasi oleh penyidik, mengingat para pelaku masih berusia dibawah 18 tahun, oleh karena itu maka mereka tergolong anak-anak. Kemudian dalam Pasal 7 Ayat 1 Undang-Undang Sistem Peradilan Pidana menjelaskan harus dilakuka upaya diversi kepada para pelaku, dalam hal ini korban dan para pelaku sepakat untuk tidak melanjutkan perkara dan memilih jalan damai. Currently there are many criminal cases committed by children, therefore, in order to prevent and overcome existing problems by implementing the Juvenile Criminal Justice System as regulated in Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Judicial System Children, namely the process of resolving children's criminal cases through the "Restorative Justice" approach. The problem of criminal acts committed by children occurred in Cinta Raja Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, the case was the theft of palm oil palm fruit at PT Buana Estate in Cinta Raja Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. Even though there are not many cases of palm oil theft, this is still contrary to criminal law. The aim of the research is to find out about restorative justice arrangements in Indonesia and how mediation is implemented at the Secangga Police. This research uses empirical research methods conducted at the Secangga Police. The results of the research state that legal regulations in handling juvenile criminal acts based on restorative justice are regulated in Article 5 of the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law which emphasizes that the Juvenile Criminal Justice System must prioritize a restorative justice approach. Mediation efforts were made by investigators, considering that the perpetrators were still under 18 years old, therefore they were classified as children. Then Article 7 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Justice System Law explains that diversion efforts must be carried out against the perpetrators, in this case the victim and the perpetrators agree not to continue the case and choose a peaceful path
