Pengaruh Empati dan Kontrol Diri terhadap Agresivitas Siswa SMA Negeri 4 Binjai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh empati dan kontrol diri terhadap agresivitas siswa SMA Negeri 4 Binjai. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif jenis deskriptif korelatif dengan pola kajian korelatif dengan menempatkan variabel penelitian dalam dua kelompok yaitu variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Binjai. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling dengan jumJab sampel terpilih sebanyak 60 orang, metode pengumpuJan data menggunakan instrumen sikap empati, instrumen kemampuan kontrol diri, dan instrumen sikap agresivitas. Analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara sikap empati dengan mempengaruhi sikap agresivitas siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien rxly = 0,895 dan p = 0,000 yaitu p < 0,01 ; (2) ada pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara antara kemampuan kontroi diri siswa dengan sikap agresivitas siswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien rx2y = 0,065 dan p = 0,000 yaitu p<0,01 ; (3) ada pengaruh negatif yang sangat signifikan antara sikap empati dan kemampuan kontrol diri dengan sikap agresivitas siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien F = 116,567 dan R = 0,856 sedangkan R2 = 0,804 dengan p < 0,01. Standard error of estimate (SEE) sebesar 7, 14466, makin kecil nilai SEE dan jika semakin mendekati angka 0 (nol) maka semakin akurat analisis regeresinya. Angka akurasinya adalah 7,14466 - I 00% = 92,86% Hipotesis ketiga dalam penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui daya pemberitaan media massa. dan sikap komunitas terhadap munculnya self esteem komunitas, analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Berganda. This study aims to determine the significance of the effect of empa!hy and self control on the aggressiveness of students at SMA Negeri 4 Binjai. The research method is a quantitative descriptive correlative type with a correlative study pattern by placing the research variables in rwo groups, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The population of this research is the students of class XI SMA Negeri 4 Binjai. The sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling technique with the number of selected samples as many as 60 people, the data collection method uses an attitude of empathy instrument, an instrument of self-control ability, and an instrument of aggressiveness. Analysis of research data shows that (1) there is a significant negative effect between empathy and students' aggressiveness as indicated by the coefficient rxly = 0.895 andp = 0.000. namely p < 0.01: (2) there is a signfficant negative effect between students' self-control abilities and students' aggressiveness, which is indicated by the coefficient rx2y = 0. 065 and p = 0. 000, namely p<0.01 ; (3) there is a very significant negative effect between empathy and seff-control ability with students' aggressiveness as indicated by the coefficient F = 116.567 and R = 0.856 while R2 = 0.804 with p < 0.01 . The standard error of estimate (SEE) is 7.14466, the smaller the SEE value and the closer to 0 (zero), the more accurate the regression analysis. The accuracy rate is 7.14466 - 100% = 92.86% The third hypothesis in this study is to determine the power of mass media coverage and community attitudes towards the emergence of community self-esteem, the analysis used is Multiple Regression Analysis.
