Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji secara empiris hubungan antara job demands dengan work engagement karyawan pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional-I Unit Kebun Dusun Hulu. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Adapun pengujian SPSS yang dilakukan peneliti ialah uji korelasi product moment untuk hipotesis dan juga uji linearitas serta uji normalitas untuk pengujian asumsi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional-I yang berjumlah 281 karyawan. Untuk menentukan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu jumlah sampel sebanyak 163 karyawan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala, yaitu skala Likert yang berdasarkan aspek-aspek job demands dan work engagement. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan negatif antara job demands dengan work engagement pada karyawan di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional-I Unit Kebun Dusun Hulu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan metode analisis korelasional, diketahui bahwa ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara job demands dengan work engagement dilihat koefisien (Rxy) = -0,854 dengan p = 0,000<0,050 serta nilai koefisien determinan (R2) = 0,729. Dalam penelitian ini, job demands pada karyawan tergolong tinggi dengan nilai 47,71 dan work engagement pada karyawan tergolong rendah dengan nilai 45,08. Diharapkan kepada peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan atau menambahkan dari faktor work engagement untuk melakukan penelitian selanjutnya. This research aims to determine and empirically test the relationship between job demands with employee work engagement at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional-I Hulu Dusun Garden Unit. The research approach used is quantitative approach with correlation research type. As for SPSS testing The researchers carried out a product moment correlation test for the hypothesis and also a linearity test as well as normality tests for testing assumptions. The population in this study was all PT employees. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional-I, totaling 281 employees. For determining the number of samples in this study using purposive techniques sampling, namely a total sample of 163 employees. Data collection is carried out using a scale, namely a Likert scale based on job aspects demands and work engagement. The hypothesis in this research is that there is a relationship negative relationship between job demands and work engagement among employees at PT. Plantation Nusantara IV Regional-I Hulu Dusun Garden Unit. Based on the results of data analysis using the correlational analysis method, it is known that there is a negative relationship The coefficient between job demands and work engagement is significant (Rxy) = -0.854 with p = 0.000 <0.050 and the determinant coefficient (R2) = 0.729. In research Currently, job demands for employees are relatively high with a score of 47.71 and work employee engagement is relatively low with a value of 45.08. Expected to Future researchers can use or add work engagement factors to conduct further research. |
