Abstract: Dalam menghadapi masalah tugas akhir, coping yang dilakukan oleh masing-masing mahasiswa sangat beragam. Ketika seseorang berada dalam kesulitan dan kejenuhan atas masalah yang dihadapi, biasanya individu memikirkan tentang cara untuk mengatasinya. Ia akan memperkirakan kemampuan yang dimiliki untuk menghadapi kesulitan yang ditemui, yaitu. dengan berusaha mencari strategi pengatasan masalah (coping) yang tepat dan efektif. Salah satu bentuk strategi coping yang dianggap relatif efektif untuk menghadapi masalah tugas akhir adalah proactive coping. In facing the final assignment problem, the coping done by each student is very diverse. When someone is in difficulty and boredom with the problems faced, usually the individual thinks about how to overcome them. He will estimate the ability he has to face the difficulties encountered, namely. by trying to find the right and effective coping strategy. One form of coping strategy that is considered relatively effective for dealing with final assignment problems is proactive coping.
