Hubungan Pola Asuh Otoriter dan Kontrol Diri dengan Agresivitas Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Binjai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan unruk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan pola asuh otoriter dan kont1ol diri dengan agresivitas siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Binjai. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif jenis deskriptif korelatif dengan pola kajian korelatif dengan menempatkan variabel penelitian dalam dua kelompok yaitu variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa VIII SMP Negeri 3 Binjai. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel terpilih sebanyak 40 orang, metode pengumpulan data menggunakar. instrumen pola asuh otoriter, instrumen kemampuan kontrol diri, dan instrumen sikap agresivitas. Analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada hubungan positif po la asuh otoriter dengan sikap agresivitas siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien rxly = 0,360 4an p = 0,023 yaitu p < 0,05 ; (2) ad.a hubungan negatif kemampuan kontrol diri siswa dengan sikap agresivitas siswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien rx2y = 0,096 dan p = 0,043 yaitu p<0,05; (3) ada hubungan Iiegatif yang sangat signifik~ antara pola asuh otoriter dan kemampuan kontrol diri dengan sikap agresivi~ siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien F = 2,756 dan R = 0,360 sedangkan R2 =·0,130 dengan p < 0,05. Standard error of estimate (SEE) sebesar 11,76346, makin kecil nilai SEE dan jika semakin mendekati angka 0 (nol) maka semakin akurat analisis regeresinya. Angka akurasinya adalah 11,76346 - 100% = 88,23654%. Hipotesis ketiga dalam penelitian adalah unruk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh otoriter dan kemampuan kontrol diri siswa dengan sikap agresivitas siswa, analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Berganda. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between authoritarian parenting and self-control with the aggressiveness of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Binjai. The research method is quantitative descriptive correlative type with a correlative study pattern by placing the research variables in two groups, namely independent variables and dependent variables. The population of the study was students of SMP Negeri 3 Binjai. The sampling technique used the Purposive Sampling technique with a selected sample of 40 people, the data collection method used authoritarian parenting instruments, self-control ability instruments, and aggressive attitude instruments. Analysis of the research data showed that (1) there is a positive relationship between authoritarian parenting and students' aggressive attitudes as indicated by the coefficient rxly = 0.360 4 and p = 0.023, namely p <0.05; (2) there is a negative relationship between students' self-control ability and students' aggressive attitudes, as indicated by the coefficient rx2y = 0.096 and p = 0.043, which is p <0.05; (3) there is a very significant negative relationship between authoritarian parenting patterns and self-control ability and students' aggressive attitudes, as indicated by the coefficient F = 2.756 and R = 0.360, while R2 = 0.130 with p <0.05. The standard error of estimate (SEE) is 11.76346, the smaller the SEE value and the closer it is to 0 (zero), the more accurate the regression analysis is. The accuracy figure is 11.76346 - 100% = 88.23654%. The third hypothesis in the study is to determine the relationship between authoritarian parenting patterns and students' self-control abilities with students' aggressive attitudes, the analysis used is Multiple Regression Analysis.
