dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan konsep diri terhadap munculnya kepercayaan diri pada remaja awal di Sanggar Tari Lembaga Kesenian Bunga Tanjung (LKBT). Sampel penelitian adalah Remaja Awal 12 sampai 14 tahun di Sanggar Tari Lembaga Kesenian Bunga Tanjung yang berjumlah 60 orang dengan jenis kelamin perempuan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala konsep diri dan skala kepercayaan diri. Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya hubungan positif antara konsep diri dengan harga diri pada remaja awal di sanggar tari Lembaga Kesenian Bunga Tanjung, semakin tinggi konsep diri maka semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri, demikian sebaliknya. Hasil analisis data diketahui kepercayaan diri remaja di sanggar tergolong rendah dengan nilai hipotetik sebesar 75 dan nilai empiriknya sebesar 60,67. Demikian pula konsep diri mereka tergolong rendah dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 80 dan empiriknya sebesar 68,88. Konsep diri berkontribusi sebesar 45,6% terhadap munculnya kepercayaan diri. Hasil penelitian ini memperjelas tantangan yang dihadapi penari sebagai remaja awal adalah ketidak percayaan diri yang terutama bersumber dari perubahan terkait fisik mereka. This study aimed to examine the correlation between self-concept and the emergence of self-confidence in early adolescents at the Bunga Tanjung Arts Institution Dance Studio (LKBT). The research sample consisted of60 female carly adolescents aged 12 to 14 years from the dance studio. The sampling lechnique used was total sampling. Data were collected using self-concept and self-confidence scales. The findings revealed a positive correlation between self-concept and self-confidence in early adolescents at the dance studio, indicating that higher self-concept was associated with higher self-confidence, and vice versa. Data analysis showed that self-confidence among the adolescents in the studio was relatively low, with a hypothetical value of75 and an empirical value of 60.67. Similarly, their self-concept was also low, with a hypothetical mean value of80 and an empirical value of68.88. Self-concept contributed 45.6% to the emergence of self-confidence. This study highlights the challenges faced by dancers as early adolescents, particularly the lack of self-confidence, which was primarilyrooted in physical changes.en_US
