dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan work engagement berdasarkan masa kerja pada karyawan Universitas Medan Area. Work engagement ialah keadaan karyawan yang selalu mempunyai energi positif dan selalu termotivasi untuk dapat aktif dalam menjalankanya pekerjaannya. Masa kerja adalah keadaan karyawan menyumbangkan tenaganya pada perusahaan dengan periode waktu lama. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 169 karyawan. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan antara work engagement berdasarkan masa kerja, dengan asumsi semakin lama masa kerja maka work engagement meningkat. Penelitian ini memakai skala work engagement dengan 3 aspek, yaitu vigor, dedication, dan absorption. Pengumpulan data memakai skala Likert. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah One Way Anova. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan work engagement ditinjau dari masa kerja. Hasil ini diketahui yaitu koefisien perbedaan dengan koefisien F = 14.746 dengan p = 0.000 < 0,050. Berdasarkan hasil berarti hipotesis yang berbunyi ada perbedaan work engagement ditinjau dari masa kerja dinyatakan diterima. This research aims to determine differences in work engagement based on length of service among Medan Area University employees. Work engagement is the condition of employees who always have positive energy and are always motivated to be active in carrying out their work. Working period is the condition of an employee contributing his energy to the company for a long period of time. The sample for this research consisted of 169 employees. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a difference between work engagement based on work period, with the assumption that the longer the work period, the greater work engagement. This research uses a work engagement scale with 3 aspects, namely vigor, dedication, and absorption. Data collection uses a Likert scale. The data analysis technique for this research is One Way Anova. The results of this research are that there are differences in work engagement in terms of work period. This result is known to be the coefficient of difference with a coefficient of F = 14.746 with p = 0.000 < 0.050. Based on the results, the hypothesis which states that there is a difference in work engagement in terms of length of service is accepted. | en_US |
