The hypothesis proposed that there is a significant difference in Body dissatisfaction based on gender is accepted. The mean Body dissatisfaction value for men is 56.29, indicating a low/positive level of Body dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, women had a mean value of 87.40, which indicates a higher/negative level of Body Dissatisfaction. This research confirms that women tend to have higher levels of Body dissatisfaction than men in the context of Instagram social media use. These results may provide important insight into how social media influences individuals' self-perception and body image based on gender, as well as the implications for mental health and behavioral patterns among psychology students.
