dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta melihat hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja pada guru di SMA Negeri 18 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 52 guru di SMA Negeri 18 Medan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 42 guru. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan motivasi kerja dimana rxy = 0,812 dengan Signifikan P = 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya, semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja maka akan tinggi juga motivasi kerja. Kepuasan kerja berkontribusi terhadap motivasi kerja sebesar 66%, dan terdapat juga sebesar 34% faktor apresiasi dan tanggungjawab pekerjaan yang diberikan. Mean hipotetik dari variabel kepuasan kerja adalah 87,5 dan mean hipotetik dari variabel motivasi kerja adalah 85. Sedangkan mean empirik dari variabel kepuasan kerja adalah 116,45 dan mean empirik dari variabel motivasi kerja adalah 117,83. This research aims to find out and see the relationship between job satisfaction and work motivation among teachers at SMA Negeri 18 Medan. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach, with data collection techniques using a Likert scale. The population in this study was 52 teachers at SMA Negeri 18 Medan. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 42 teachers. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and work motivation where rxy = 0.812 with significant P = 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the work motivation. Job satisfaction contributes to work motivation by 66%, and there is also a factor of appreciation and responsibility of the work given by 34%. The hypothetical mean of the job satisfaction variable is 87.5 and the hypothetical mean of the work motivation variable is 85. Meanwhile the empirical mean of the job satisfaction variable is 116.45 and the empirical mean of the work motivation variable is 117.83. | en_US |
