Perancangan Hotel Resort di Silalahi dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Neo Vernakular

Abstract

Kabupaten Dairi berada di Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Ibukotanya adalah Kecamatan Sidikalang. Jumlah penduduk Kabupaten Dairi sebanyak 318.616 jiwa pada akhir tahun 2021. Desa Silalahi merupakan desa di kawasan wisata Danau Toba yang bisa menjadi desa tujuan wisata. Meningkatnya kunjungan wisatawan ke Indonesia menjadi pertanda baik bagi perkembangan perekonomian negara karena terciptanya lapangan kerja baru khususnya di bidang perhotelan dalam hal ini sumber daya manusia. Sehingga kebutuhan akomodasi hotel resort sangat dibutuhkan untuk melengkapi fasilitas yang ada di danau toba. Hotel Resort juga dapat dijadikan sebagai tempat berwisata dengan adanya fasilitas lengkap seperti, kolam renang, gym, restoran,dll. Peningkatan di bidang wisata tidak dapat dipisahkan dari salah satu kebutuhan manusia akan relaksasi dan rekreasi. Untuk itu tentunya akan membutuhkan wadah yang berguna sebagai objek wisata yang memiliki fasilitas peristrahatan, solusi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan dirancangnya hotel resort yang memiliki fasilitas lengkap. Keberadaan Hotel Resort di Silalahi sangat mendukung pengembangan daerah tersebut terutama untuk menarik wisatawan menengah ke atas yang merupakan mangsa pasar menguntungkan. Mengingat bahwa kekayaan budaya Silalahi yang perlu dijaga dan dilestarikan sehubungan dengan pencanangannya sebagai cagar budaya, maka dalam penyediaan fasilitas penginapan berupa hotel resort akan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur neo vernakular untuk mendukung kelestarian lingkungan budaya dan alam sekitarnya. Hotel Resort can also be used as a place of travel with complete facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, restaurants, etc. The increase in tourism cannot be separated from one of the human needs for relaxation and recreation. For that, of course, you will need a container that is useful as a tourist attraction that has resting facilities. The solution to this problem is to design a resort hotel that has complete facilities. The existence of Resort Hotels in Silalahi strongly supports the development of the area, especially to attract middle to upper class tourists who are prey to the lucrative market. Given that it is Silalahi's cultural wealth that needs to be maintained and preserved in connection with its declaration as a cultural heritage, in the provision of accommodation facilities in the form of a resort hotel, a neo vernacular architectural approach will be used to support the preservation of the surrounding cultural and natural environment.
