Hubungan Personal Fable dengan Perilaku Merokok pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara personal fable dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA N 1 Aek Natas kelas X-XII IPA dan IPS yang berjumlah 900 siswa dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 135 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik Purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dengan dua skala, yaitu skala personal fable dan skala perilaku merokok. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis korelasi product moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara personal fable dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0.981, dengan signifikan p > 0,05. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh Koefisien determinan (r2) = 0,962. Berdasarkan hasil uji mean dapat disimpulkan bahwa personal fable pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas tergolong sangat tinggi dengan nilai mean empiriknya sebesar 134.02. Selanjutnya perilaku merokok pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas memperoleh hasil sangat tinggi dengan nilai empiriknya sebesar 93.24. This research aimed to determine the correlation between personal fable and smoking behavior among students ofSMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas. The population used in this research consisted of900 students from grades X-XII in the Science and Social Studies streams at SMA Negeri I Aek Natas, and the sample included 135 students. The sampling lechnique used was purposive sampling. Daia collection was carried out using two scales, namely the personal fable scale and the smoking behavior scale. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis, it was found that there was a positive correlation benveen personal fable and smoking behavior among students ofSMA Negeri I Aek Natas.This result was evidenced by a correlation coefficient ofrxy = 0.981, with a significance ofp> 0.05. From these results, a coefficient ofdelermination (r2) of 0.962 was oblained. Based on the mean lest results, it was concluded that the personal fable among students ofSMA Negeri I Aek Nalas was calegorized as very high, with a hypothetical mean score of115 and an empirical mean score of 134.02. Furthermore, the smoking behavior among students ofSMA Negeri I Aek Natas was also categorized as very high, with a hypothetical mean score of80and an empirical mean score of 93.24.
