Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kecanduan game online dengan perilaku agresif pada remaja di SMA Swasta Perguruan Prayatna Medan. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Nonprobality Sampling dengan Teknik Sampling Purposive berjumlah 63 orang remaja. Skala kecanduan game online penelitian ini diukur dengan menggunakan aspek kecanduan game online, yaitu salience, excessive use, neglect work, anticiption, lack of control dan neglect of social life. Skala perilaku agresif disusun berdasarkan aspek perilaku agresif yaitu Physical Aggression, Verbal Aggression, Anger dan Hostility. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis penelitian pada remaja di SMA Swasta Perguruan Prayatna Medan, diketahui bahwa hipotesis diterima yang berarti ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kecanduan game online dengan perilaku agresif dilihat dari nilai koefisien (𝒓𝒙𝒚) yang memiliki nilai 0,616 dengan p atau signifikansinya 0,000 < 0,050, yang artinya ada hubungan antara kecanduan game online dengan perilaku agresif pada remaja di SMA Swasta Perguruan Prayatna Medan. Begitu juga dengan nilai koefisien determinan (r²) yang memiliki nilai 0,379, hal ini setara dengan 37,9% artinya bahwa kecanduan game online berkorelasi sekitar 37,9% terhadap perilaku agresif pada remaja di SMA Swasta Perguruan Prayatna Medan. Dari hasil data perhitungan mean empirik dan mean hipotetik diketahui bahwa variabel kecanduan game online pada remaja memiliki mean hipotetik sebesar 50, mean empirik sebesar 65,37 dan standar deviasi sebesar 8,983. Sedangkan untuk variabel perilaku agresif, mean hipotetik sebesar 55, mean empiriknya sebesar 64,06 dan standar deviasi sebesar 6.064. dari hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa kecanduan game online dan perilaku agresif tergolong tinggi. This research aims to look at the relationship between online game addiction and aggressive behavior in teenagers at the Medan Prayatna Private High School. The type of research used in this research is quantitative correlational. Sampling in this study used the Nonprobability Sampling Technique with Purposive Sampling Technique, totaling 63 teenagers. This research's online game addiction scale was measured using aspects of online game addiction, namely salience, excessive use, neglect of work, anticipation, lack of control and neglect of social life. The aggressive behavior scale is arranged based on aspects of aggressive behavior, namely Physical Aggression, Verbal Aggression, Anger and Hostility. significant positive relationship between online game addiction and aggressive behavior seen from the coefficient value (r_xy) which has a value of 0.616 with a p or significance of 0.000 < 0.050 , which means there is a relationship between online game addiction and aggressive behavior in teenagers at the Medan Prayatna Private High School. Likewise, the determinant coefficient (r²) value is 0.379, this is equivalent to 37.9%, meaning that online game addiction is correlated around 37.9% with aggressive behavior in teenagers at Medan Praayatna Private High School. From the results of the data calculating the empirical mean and hypothetical mean, it is known that the variable online game addiction in teenagers has a hypothetical mean of 50, an empirical mean of 65.37 and a standard deviation of 8.983. Meanwhile, for the aggressive behavior variable, the hypothetical mean is 55, the empirical mean is 64.06 and the standard deviation is 6,064. From these results it can be seen that online game addiction and aggressive behavior are relatively high.
