dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self-disclosure dengan psychological well-being pada pemilik second account Instagram. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area dengan sampel 123 pemilik second account Instagram, menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self-disclosure dengan psychological well-being pada pemilik second account di Instagram dengan nilai rxy = 0,661 dengan P = 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil ini menunjukkan hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima. Koefisien determinan (R2) sebesar 0,436, menunjukkan bahwa self-disclosure berkontribusi terhadap psychological well-being sebesar 43,6% sisanya dari faktor lain yang tidak dikaitkan dalam penelitian ini. Analisis lanjutan menunjukkan bahwa self-disclosure tergolong tinggi (mean empirik = 59,42, mean hipotetik = 50 dan standar deviasi = 8,376). Psychological well-being juga tergolong tinggi (mean empirik = 99,57, mean hipotetik 82 dan standar deviasi = 12,292). This research aimed to examine the correlation between self-disclosure and psychological well-being among owners of second Instagram accounts. The subjects in this study were female students from the Faculty of Psychology.University of Medan Area, with a sample of 123 second account instagram owners, using incidental sampling techniques. The data analysis method used the product moment correlation test. The results of the study showed a significant positive correlation between self-disclosure and psychological well-being among second account Instagrami owners, with a correlation coefficient of ry = 0.661and P=0.0090 < 0.05. These results indicated that the hypothesis proposed in this study was accepted. The coeflicient ofdetermination (R') was 0.436, showing that self-disclosure contributed 43.6% to psvchological well-being, with the remainder influenced by other factors not considered in this study. Further analysis showed that self-disclosure was categorized as high (empirical mean = 59.42,hypothetical mean = 50, and standard deviation = 8.376). Psychological well-being was also categorized as high (empirical mean = 99.57. hypothetical meamn-82. and standard deviation = 12.292).en_US
