dc.description.abstractKantor pelayanan pajak pratama Medan Barat adalah pusat administratif yang mengelola berbagai urusan perpajakan, pegawai di sini seringkali dihadapkan pada tekanan yang tinggi dalam menyelesaikan tugas mereka. Tekanan kerja yang tinggi ini akan menimbulkan stres kerja yang akan mempengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis dari para pegawai kantor pelayanan pajak pratama Medan barat. Hal ini dapat berdampak negatif pada motivasi, produktivitas, dan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari stress kerja terhadap psychological well-being. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yaitu kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode skala yang berisikan sejumlah pernyataan yang diberikan kepada subjek agar dapat mengungkapkan kondisi yang tidak diketahui subjek. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 82 orang dengan Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu total sampling. Hasil penelitian dari 82 sampel membuktikan stres kerja berdistribusi 43,1% terhadap psychological well-being yang memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan, koefisien determinan (r^2) yaitu 0,431, nilai hipotetik dari psychological well-being yaitu 85 dan mean empirik nya 70,50, lalu untuk stress kerja memiliki nilai hipotetik 42,5 dan mean empirik nya 48,01, sehingga tingkat stress kerja yang dimiliki seseorang memberikan kontribusi terhadap psychological wellbeing itu sendiri. Hal ini mencerminkan semakin tinggi stress kerja maka semakin rendah psychological well-being seseorang. The West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office is the administrative center that manages various tax matters, employees here are often faced with pressure high in completing their tasks. This high work pressure will causes work stress which will affect the psychological well-being of employees West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office employee. This can have a negative impact on motivation, productivity and quality of services provided to the community. This research aims to determine the effect of work stress on psychological well-being. The type of research used by researchers is quantitative with The data collection method used is the scale method which contains a number a statement given to the subject in order to express a condition that is not known to the subject. The sample used in this research was 82 people with The sampling technique used was total sampling. Research results from 82 samples proves that work stress has a 43.1% distribution of psychological well-being has a significant negative effect, the determinant coefficient (r^2) is 0.431, value the hypothetical of psychological well-being is 85 and the empirical mean is 70.50, then for work stress has a hypothetical value of 42.5 and an empirical mean of 48.01, so the level A person's work stress contributes to psychological well-being itself. This reflects that the higher the job stress, the lower the psychological well-being of an individual.en_US
