Gambaran Coping Stres pada Staf Dinas Perhubungan Kota Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran coping stres pada staf Dinas Perhubungan Kota Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini staf sebanyak 85 orang. Maka dari itu teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling. Coping stres diukur berdasarkan aspek menurut Lazarus & Folkman. Berdasarkan hasil uji kontribusi dapat diperoleh bahwa Emotion focused coping dengan skor 49%, selanjutnya Problem focused coping memperoleh hasil sebesar 51 %. Hasil dari uji mean dapat dilihat bahwa Emotion focused coping memperoleh hasil rendah dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 50 dan mean empirik sebesar 35,977. Selanjutnya Problem focused coping memperoleh hasil sedang dengan mean hipotetik sebesar 40 dan mean empirik sebesar 36, 471. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya gambaran coping stres pada staf Dinas Perhubungan Kota Medan. This research aims to determine the description of stress coping among Medan city transportation service staff. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study was 85 staff. Therefore, the sampling technique in this study used a total sampling technique. Stress coping is measured based on aspects according to Lazarus & Folkman. Based on the results of the contribution test, it can be seen that Emotion focused coping with a score of 49%, then Problem focused coping obtained a result of 51%. The results of the mean test can be seen that Emotion focused coping obtained low results with a hypothetical mean value of 50 and an empirical mean of 35.977. Furthermore, Problem focused coping obtained medium results with a hypothetical mean of 40 and an empirical mean of 36.471. It can be concluded that there is a picture of stress coping in the staff of the Medan City Transportation Department.
