Hubungan Kontrol Diri dengan Off Task Behavior Siswa di SMP Negeri 11 Binjai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan off task behavior siswa di SMP Negeri 11 Binjai. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII dan VIII SMP Negeri 11 Binjai dengan jumlah 395 siswa dan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 135 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis korelasi product moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara variabel kontrol diri dengan perilaku off task behavior. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = -0,930 dengan Signifikan p= 0,000 < 0,05. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0,865. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri berdistribusi sebesar 86,5% terhadap perilaku off task behavior. Berdasarkan hasil uji mean dapat disimpulkan bahwa kontrol diri tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 65 dan nilai empiriknya sebesar 83,103. Selanjutnya perilaku off task behavior dapat disimpulkan memperoleh hasil rendah dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 70 dan nilai empiriknya sebesar 40,536. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kontrol diri memiliki hubungan terhadap off task behavior pada siswa kelas VII dan VIII SMP Negeri 11 Binjai. This study aims to determine the correlation between self-control and off-task behavior of students at SMP Negeri 11 Binjai. The population in this study were students of grades VII and VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Binjai with a total of 395 students and the number of samples in this study was 135 students. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis calculation, it can be seen that there is a significant negative correlation between the self-control variable and off-task behavior. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = -0.930 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.05. From these results, the determinant coefficient (r2) of the correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2 = 0.865. This shows that self-control is distributed by 86.5% to off-task behavior. Based on the results of the mean test, it can be concluded that self-control is classified as high with a hypothetical mean value of 65 and an empirical value of 83.103. Furthermore, off-task behavior can be concluded to have low results with a hypothetical mean value of 70 and an empirical value of 40.536. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that self-control has a correlation with off-task behavior in grade VII and VIII students of SMP Negeri 11 Binjai.
