dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran employee engagement di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Barat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Barat berjumlah 115 karyawan dan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 karyawan di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Barat. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan jenis random sampling. Skala employee engagement yaitu: vigor (semangat), dedication (dedikasi) dan absorption (penyerapan). Pada variabel tingkat employee engagement pada karyawan di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Barat diperoleh nilai mean sebesar 46 dengan besar nilai std.deviasi yaitu 11,16. Setelah dilakukan suatu kategorisasi data dengan menggunakan total responden sebanyak 60 karyawan, maka telah diperoleh suatu hasil bahwa sebanyak 22 karyawan memiliki tingkat employee engagement yang tinggi, 33 karyawan memiliki tingkat employee engagement pada kategorisasi sedang dan 5 karyawan memiliki tingkat employee engagement yang berada pada kategorisasi rendah, Gambaran employee engagement pada karyawan di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Barat rata-rata berada pada tingkat kategorisasi yang sedang. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa karyawan Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Barat memiliki suatu employee engagement yang bagus karena telah memiliki suatu nilai sebesar 55% dari total keseluruhan nilai sebesar 100%. This study aims to determine the description of employee engagement at the West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office. The population in this study were employees at the West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office totaling 115 employees and the number of samples in this study was 60 employees at the West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office. In this study, the researcher used a sampling technique with a random sampling type. The employee engagement scale is: vigor, dedication and absorption. In the variable of employee engagement level in employees at the West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office, a mean value of 46 was obtained with a large std.deviation value of 11.16. After a data categorization was carried out using a total of 60 employees as respondents, a result was obtained that 22 employees had a high level of employee engagement, 33 employees had a level of employee engagement in the medium category and 5 employees had a level of employee engagement in the low category. The description of employee engagement in employees at the West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office is on average at a medium categorization level. So it can be said that the employees of the West Medan Pratama Tax Service Office have good employee engagement because they have a value of 55% of the total value of 100%.en_US
