Abstract: Tingkat penyebaran hoaks yang semakin tinggih membuat masyarakat harus dibekali oleh pengetahuan mengenai literasi media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana literasi media Mafindo dalam menghadapi hoaks Pilpres 2024 di Facebook. Masalah difokuskan pada kegiatan-kegiatan literasi media yang dilakukan oleh pihak Mafindo pada tahun pemilu 2024. Guna mendekati masalah ini dipergunakan acuan teori literasi media dari James Potter (2019). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, menggabungkan dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara dengan 5 orang narasumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat banyak kegiatan literasi media yang dilakukan oleh pihak Mafindo, seperti pembuatan konten prebunking dan debunking, pembuatan kelas-kelas online seperti kelas cek fakta dan kelas prebunking dan juga berbagai materi-materi lainnya mengenai cara menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi hoaks. The increasing spread of hoaxes has made it essential for the public to be equipped with knowledge about media literacy. This study aimed lo understand how Majindo's media literacy efforts addressed hoaxes related to the 2024 Presidential Election on Facebook. The focus of the research was on the media literacy activities carried out by Mafindo during the 2024 election year. To approach this issue, James Potter's (2019) media literacy theory was used as a reference. The study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, combining dolitmentalion, observation, and interviews with jive informants. The results of this· study showed that Maflndo carried out numerous media literacy activities, such as creating prebunking and debunking content, offering online classes like fact-checking and prebunking courses, and providing various other mc1terials on how to analyze and identify hoaxes.
