Pengaruh Pola Asuh Orang Tua Terhadap Tipe Kepribadian Dependen pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi di Universitas Medan Area

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap tipe kepribadian dependen pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi di Universitas Medan Area. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Stambuk 2018, 2019 dan 2020 sebanyak 254 mahasiswa dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Stambuk 2018, 2019 dan 2020 sebanyak 120 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan model skala likert dengan dua skala, yaitu skala pola asuh orang tua dan skala tipe kepribadian dependen. Berdasarkan hasil koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0.154. Ini menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh orang tua berdistribusi sebesar 15,4% terhadap tipe kepribadian dependen. Melihat hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya pengaruh negatif variabel independen terhadap pola asuh orang tua dan variabel dependen terhadap tipe kepribadian dependen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode regresi berganda di dapatkan dua hasil dalam rangka menguji hipotesis yang telah diajukan yakni : Ada pengaruh signifikan antara pola asuh dengan kepribadian dependent, dengan koefisien F sebesar 7.046, dengan p <0.01, dengan pola asuh permissive yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan di bandingkan dengan pola asuh lainnya, dengan koefisien t sebesar 3.665 dengan harga p<0.01, maka poa asuh permissive secara signifikan memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepribadian dependent. This study aims to determine the effect of parenting patterns on dependent personality types in students of the Faculty of Psychology at Medan Area University. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Psychology Stambuk 2018, 2019 and 2020 totaling 254 students and the sample in this study were students of the Faculty of Psychology Stambuk 2018, 2019 and 2020 totaling 120 students. The sampling technique used was the random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale model with two scales, namely the parenting pattern scale and the dependent personality type scale. Based on the results of the determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2 = 0.154. This shows that parenting patterns are distributed by 15.4% on the dependent personality type. Looking at the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the hypothesis of this study can be proven by the negative influence of the independent variable on parenting patterns and the dependent variable on the dependent personality type. Based on the results of the analysis using the multiple regression method, two results were obtained in order to test the hypothesis that has been proposed, namely: There is a significant influence between parenting patterns and dependent personality, with an F coefficient of 7.046, with p <0.01, with permissive parenting patterns showing a significant influence compared to other parenting patterns, with a t coefficient of 3.665 with a value of p <0.01, then permissive parenting patterns significantly influence dependent personality.
