The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between social support and work stress. This research was carried out at the Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture office. The method used is a correlational quantitative method. The sample was 43 people using a total sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale model using the Social Support scale and Work Stress scale. Data analysis used product moment correlation analysis. Based on the analysis results, it is known that the correlation coefficient rxy = -0.450 with a significance level of p = 0.002 < 0.05. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.202. This shows that social support contributes to work stress by 20.2%. This shows that there are still other factors amounting to 79.8%, namely apart from social support factors. There are three factors that influence stress in the work environment, namely environmental factors, organizational factors and individual factors. Job stress is classified as high with a hypothetical mean value of 70 and an empirical mean of 90.67. Furthermore, social support is low with a hypothetical value of 82.5 and an empirical value of 68.29. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of this study are accepted.en_US
