dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris dan mengetahui hubungan konsep diri dengan kepercayaan diri pada siswa kelas XI SMA Santo Thomas 2 Medan. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 300 siswa, Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan quota sampling berjumlah 92 orang siswa-siswi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data konsep diri menggunakan skala konsep diri dan skala kepercayaan diri menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisi data menggunakan Teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil analisi dengan metode analisi Korelasi r Product moment diketahui hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan kepercayaan diri Dimana rxy = 0.218 menunjukkan nilai signifikan korelasi P= 0.000 < 0.05. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan konsep diri dengan kepercayaan diri SMA Santo Thomas 2 Medan sebesar r2 = 0.047 ini menunjukkan konsep diri mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri sebesar 4.70%. Dapat disimpulkan konsep diri tergolong sedang Dimana mean hipotetik 63.00 dan mean empiric 60.951 serta standart devisiasi 5.922. Dan kepercayaan diri juga tergolong sedang Dimana mean hipotetik 96.00 mean empiric 90.752 , serta standart devisiasi 6.951. This research aims to empirically test and determine the relationship between self-concept and self-confidence in class XI students at SMA Santo Thomas 2 Medan. The population in this study was 300 students. The sampling technique used quota sampling, totaling 92 students. The research method uses quantitative methods. Self-concept data was collected using a self-concept scale and a self-confidence scale using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation technique. The results of the analysis using the r Product moment correlation analysis method show a significant positive relationship between self-concept and self-confidence. Where rxy = 0.218 shows a significant correlation value of P = 0.000 < 0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between self-concept and self-confidence at SMA Santo Thomas 2 Medan is r2 = 0.047, this shows that self-concept influences self-confidence by 4.70%. It can be concluded that self-concept is classified as moderate, where the hypothetical mean is 63.00 and the empirical mean is 60.951 and the standard deviation is 5.922. And self-confidence is also classified as moderate, where the hypothetical mean is 96.00, the empirical mean is 90.752, and the standard deviation is 6.951.en_US
