The termination of a person's employment relationship can have an impact on a person's mentality and level of resilience. This research aims to explore how respondents are able to be resilient to the layoff cases they face, which encourages respondents to become resilient in their layoff experiences and in their search for new work. This research method used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and the respondents were two people aged 50 years and 39 years with 2 informants each. Respondents had the criteria of having experienced layoffs and getting jobs again, were still of productive age, and lived in Medan, North Sumatra. Data analysis uses interview and documentation methods. The results of this research show that hospital respondents are resilient because respondents do not feel guilty, have self-confidence, increase spirituality, and have the courage to take risks in overcoming problems at work. Meanwhile, HS respondents are resilient because they are still relatively productive in their age and have an optimistic attitude in the job search. | en_US |
