Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII SMK Swasta Jambi Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 113 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan systematic random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Skala Minat Melanjutkan Pendidikan Tinggi dan Skala Motivasi Belajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 6,200, koefisien regresi sebesar 0,791, dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001. sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan minat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi pada siswa SMK Swasta Jambi Medan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik, motivasi belajar siswa SMK Swasta Jambi Medan berada pada kategori sedang, dan minat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi juga berada pada kategori tinggi. This research aims to determine the influence of learning motivation on interest in continuing higher education in class XII students at Jambi Private Vocational School, Medan. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The research sample consisted of 113 students, with a sampling technique using systematic random sampling. Data was collected using the Interest Scale in Continuing Higher Education and the Learning Motivation Scale. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression. The research results show that the t value is 6.200, the regression coefficient is 0.791, and the significance value is 0.001. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between learning motivation and interest in continuing higher education among Jambi Medan Private Vocational School students. Based on the results of statistical calculations, the learning motivation of Jambi Medan Private Vocational School students is in the medium category, and interest in continuing higher education was in the high category.
