dc.description.abstractPersimpangan merupakan salah satu yang sering menyebabkan kemacetan terutama simpang tak bersinyal di perkotaan. Jalan Karya Jaya Medan Johor, memiliki beberapa persimpangan yang sering menjadi konflik lalu lintas pada saat jam tertentu. Terutama di persimpangan tak bersinyal tiga lengan yang mempertemukan jalan Karya Jaya, Eka Surya dan jalan Perjuangan. sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi pada simpang tersebut. Tujuan dari peneltian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja persimpangan tak bersinyal dan memberikan solusi permasalahan yang terjadi pada simpang tiga jalan Karya Jaya Medan Johor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) tahun 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara survei secara langsung kelapangan. Hasil dari penelitian pada jam puncak yaitu hari senin pukul 07:00-09:00 WIB, volume lalu lintas tersebut tertinggi dari pada hari lain. Di dapat nilai derajat derajat kejenuhan (DJ) sebesar 0,99, Tundaan (T) sebesar 18,51 det/kend, Peluang antrian (Pa) berkisar 39%-78%.Tingkat pelayanan pada simpang tiga tak bersinyal di jalan Karya Jaya Medan Johor termasuk pada kriteria cukup (C). sebaiknya persimpangan dilengkapi rambu-rambu lalu lintas seperti alat pemberi isyarat lalu lintas dan melakukan perubahan arus lalu lintas. Intersections are ones that often cause traffic jams, especially unsignalized intersections in urban areas. Jalan Karya Jaya Medan Johor, has several intersections which often become traffic conflicts at certain times. Especially at the three-arm unsignalized intersection that connects Jalan Karya Jaya, Eka Surya and Jalan Perjuangan. so it is necessary to carry out an evaluation at the intersection. The aim of this research is to determine the performance of unsignalized intersections and provide solutions to problems that occur at the intersection of three Jalan Karya Jaya Medan Johor. This research uses the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) method. Data collection was carried out by direct field surveys. The results of the research were that during peak hours, namely Mondays at 07:00-09:00 WIB, the traffic volume was the highest compared to other days. The value of the degree of saturation (DJ) was 0.99, the delay (T) was 18.51 sec/kend, the queue probability (Pa) ranged from 39% -78%. The level of service at the unsignaled intersection on Jalan Karya Jaya Medan Johor is included in the sufficient criteria (C). intersections should be equipped with traffic signs such as traffic signals and changes in traffic flow.en_US
