Hubungan antara Self Esteem dengan Kecendrungan Cinderella Complex di SMA Negeri 6 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self Esteem dengan kecenderungan Cinderella Complex di SMA Negeri 6 Medan. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 99 dan sampel 35. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment. koefisien korelasi rxy = - 0,296; P = 0,008. Hasil menunjukkan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima, terdapat hubungan negatif antara Self Estemm dengan kedenderungan Cinderella Complex. semakin rendah Self Esteem maka semakin tinggi kecenderungan Cinderella Complex. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, tingkat Self Esteem yang diterima tergolong rendah dan tingkat kecenderungan Cinderella Complex tergolong tinggi, dengan nilai rata-rata empirik Self Esteem 57,13 dan kecenderungan Cinderela Complex 115,89. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui perhitungan koefisisen determinan (r2)= 0,403. The research aims to determine the relationship between Self Esteem and the Cinderella Complex tendency in SMA Negeri 6 Medan. The research population was 99 and the sample was 35. The results show that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, there is a negative relationship between Self Esteem and the tendency to Cinderella Complex. The lower the Self Esteem, the higher the Cinderella Complex tendency. The results obtained from this research show that the level of Self Esteem received is relatively low and the level of Cinderella Complex tendency is relatively high, with an empirical average value of Self Esteem of 57.13 and a tendency of Cinderella Complex of 115.89.
