dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara Efikasi Diri dengan Motivasi Berprestasi siswa di SMK PAB 2 Helvetia Medan. Jenis penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel 70 orang dari jumlah populasi 200 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert disebarkan melalui kuesioner. Teknik analisis data adalah korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan secara hipotetik dan empirik, efikasi diri tergolong tinggi sebab nilai mean hipotetik 52,5 dan empiriknya 64,26 dan motivasi berprestasi tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean hipotetik 87,5 dan empiriknya 96,30. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,531 dengan nilai signifikansi p= 0,000 < 0,010 artinya ada hubungan positif antara efikasi diri dengan motivasi berprestasi. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima. Adapun sumbangan efektif dari efikasi diri mempengaruhi motivasi berprestasi sebesar 28,2%. Faktor lainnya sebesar 71,8% oleh faktor lain antara lain seperti: Budaya, jenis kelamin, sifat dari tugas, Insentif Eksternal dan sebagainya. This research aims to find out the relationship between Self-Efficacy and Achievement Motivation of students at SMK PAB 2 Helvetia Medan. This type of research is a correlational quantitative approach. Sample of 70 people from a population of 200 people. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection using a Likert scale was distributed through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is product moment correlation. Based on the results of hypothetical and empirical calculations, self-efficacy is classified as high because the hypothetical mean value is 52.5 and the empirical value is 64.26 and achievement motivation is relatively high with the hypothetical mean value 87.5 and the empirical value is 96.30. The results of this research show a correlation coefficient rxy = 0.531 with a significance value of p = 0.000 < 0.010, meaning there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation. The hypothesis in this research can be accepted. The effective contribution of self-efficacy influences achievement motivation by 28.2%. Other factors amounted to 71.8% by other factors such as: Culture, gender, nature of the task, external incentives and others.en_US
