dc.description.abstract | Bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi panitia pemilihan kecamatan (PPK) dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat pada pemilihan umum 2024 dan mengetahui hambatan komunikasi yang terjadi dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat pada pemilihan umum 2024. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian bahwa strategi komunikasi PPK Medan Selayang dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dikategorikan baik. Strategi komunikasi yang digunakan tatap muka, sosial media, sosialisasi kepada pemilih milenial berupa ceramah dan dialog secara langsung dan menggunakan relawan demokrasi. Hambatan yang terjadi dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat pada pemilihan umum 2024 yaitu pelanggaran pemilu yang sudah menjadi budaya karena terlalu banyak calon yang melakukan hal ini sehingga kesadaran masyarakat bahaya akan politik uang yang masih sangat minim dan masyarakat menjadi kurang ikut serta dalam berbagai kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilakukan PPK Medan Selayang. Aims To analyze the communication strategy of the sub-district election committee (PPK) in increasing community participation in the 2024 general election and to find out the communication barriers that occur in increasing community participation in the 2024 general election. The research used is qualitative with descriptive methods and data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the communication strategy of PPK Medan Selayang in increasing community participation was categorized as good. The communication strategy used is face-to-face, social media, socialization to millennial voters in the form of lectures and direct dialogue and using democracy volunteers. The obstacles that occur in increasing community participation in the 2024 general election are election violations that have become a culture because too many candidates do this so that public awareness of the dangers of money politics is still very minimal and the community becomes less involved in various socialization activities carried out by PPK Medan Selayang. | en_US |
