Abstract: | Blower merupakan sebuah mesin sentrifugal yang berkecepatan tinggi yang digunakan sebagai penghembus dengan memanfaatkan udara atau gas dengan gaya sentrifugal ke tekanan akhir melalui suatu impeller yang berputar. Penelitian dilaksanakan untuk menentukan sudu-sudu yang tepat pada blower sentrifugal, untuk mengetahui hasil kerja blower pada hammer mill kapasitas 150 kg/jam, menghitung putaran ideal blower pada mesin hammer mill. Didapatkan dari hasil penelitian bahwasanya putaran blower yang ideal untuk hammer mill yaitu 2800 rpm yang telah dilakukan pengukuran secara langsung. Jumlah sudu impeller terbaik yaitu 12 sudu yang diperoleh dari 3 percobaan dengan kecepatan udara tertinggi 16,9 m/s, dengan debit udara 0,1183 m / ,daya udara 0,16711 Watt, dan efisiensi 0,0015 %. A blower is a high-speed centrifugal machine that is used as a blower by utilizing air or gas with centrifugal force to the final pressure through a rotating impeller. Research was carried out to determine the correct blades on a centrifugal blower, to determine the work results of the blower on a hammer mill with a capacity of 150 kg/hour, to calculate the ideal blower rotation on a hammer mill machine. It was found from the research results that the ideal blower rotation for a hammer mill is 2800 rpm which has been measured directly. The best number of impeller blades is 12 blades obtained from 3 experiments with the highest air speed of 16.9 m/s, with an air flow of 0.1183 m^3/s, an air power of 0.16711 Watt, and an efficiency of 0.0015%. |
