Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is a type of veg etable belonging to the Brassicaceae family. Pakcoy can grow in lowland lo highland areas. The aim of this research was to determine the best dosage of vermicompost f e rtilizer and Kepok banana p eel liquid organic f e rtilizer (POC) for the growth and yield of Pakcoy plants (Brasicca rapa L.). This research was conducted al the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) in a factorial manner, consisting of two treatment factors: vermicompost f e rtilizer dosage (notation K) with.five treatment levels, namely KO: control, Kl: 1 kglplot/m:z, K2: 2 kglplot/m:z, K3: 3 kglplot/m:z, and Kepok banana p eel POC dosage (notation P) withfour treatment le vels, namely PO: control, Pl: 150 mil l liter of wate r, P2: 250 mill liter ofwater, S3: 350 mil l liter ofwater. Observations were made on plant h eight (cm), number of leaves, plant production weight per sample, plant production p er plot, root length, and root volume. The application of vermicompost f ertilizer significantly affected plant he ight, the number of leaves , and had a highly significant effect on root volume growth of pakcoy plants (Brasicca rapa L.), with the best treatment being K3 (3 kg/plot). However, the application of Kepok banana p eel POC and the combination of both treatments did not affect the growth and yield of pakcoy plants (Brasicca rapa L.). |
