dc.description.abstract | Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditas utama tanaman pangan setelah beras dan gandum, sumber karbohidrat, industri pangan, pakan ternak dan produksi minyak jagung. Sumatera Utara berada di posisi ketiga dengan total produksi 1,31 juta/ton dari luas tanam 208,4 hektar Salah satu hama utama tanaman jagung adalah S. frugiperda. Hama cacing tentara (S. frugiperda) ditemukan di Indonesia pada awal tahun 2019 di Sumatera. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan B. bassiana terhadap serangan S. frugiperda pada tanaman jagung di Desa Lumbanri, Kecamatan Dolok Panribuan, Kecamatan Simalungun pada ketinggian 699.974 meter di atas permukaan laut. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode Non-Faktorial RAK (Complete Random Design) berdasarkan model linier yang terdiri dari 4 tingkatan. Perlakuan P0 = tanpa perlakuan (kontrol), P1 = : insektisida kimia sintetis (Curacron) 1 ml/1 liter air, P2 = B. bassiana dengan konsentrasi 50 g/1 liter air, P3 = B. bassiana dengan konsentrasi 60 g/1 liter air, P4 = B. bassiana dengan konsentrasi 70 g/1 liter air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kematian larva S. frugiperda tertinggi pada pengobatan, yaitu P3 pada dosis 60 g/l dan P4 pada dosis 70 g/l pada 100% pada hari ke-18 HSA. Penerapan B. bassiana di lapangan dalam menekan persentase serangan S. frugiperda sangat efektif. Dimana dari beberapa perlakuan B. bassiana, perlakuan P4 dengan konsentrasi B. bassiana sebanyak 70 g/I efektif menekan serangan S. frugiperda, yang dapat dilihat dari laju serangan S. frugiperda. Kesimpulan Penerapan jamur B. bassiana di Desa Lumbanri, Kecamatan Dolok Panthousand, Kabupaten Simalungun memiliki efek yang sangat nyata terhadap kematian S. frugiperda. Kematian S, frugiperda tertinggi ditemukan pada perlakuan P3 dengan konsentrasi B. bassiana sebanyak 60 gr/I dan P4 dengan konsentrasi B. bassiana 70 gr/I sebanyak 100%. Penerapan B. bassiana di lapangan dalam menekan persentase serangan S. frugiperda sangat efektif. Corn is one of the main food crop commodities after rice and wheat, a source of carbohydrates, food industry, animal feed and corn oil production. North Sumatra is in third position with total production of 1.31 million/ton from a planting area of 208.4 hectares. One of the main pests of corn plants is S. frugiperda. The army worm pest (S. frugiperda) was discovered in Indonesia in early 2019 in Sumatra. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of applying B. bassiana against S. frugiperda attacks on corn plants in Lumbanri Village, Dolok Panribuan District, Simalungun District at an altitude of 699,974 meters above sea level. Treatment P0 = no treatment (control), P1 =: synthetic chemical insecticide (Curacron) 1 ml/1 liter of water, P2 = B. bassiana with a concentration of 50 g/1 liter of water, P3 = B. bassiana with a concentration of 60 g/1 liter of water, P4 = B. bassiana with a concentration of 70 g/1 liter of water. The results showed that the larvae died S. frugiperda was highest in treatment, namely P3 at a dose of 60 g/l and P4 at a dose of 70 g/l at 100% on day 18 HSA. The application of B. bassiana in the field in reducing the percentage of S. frugiperda attacks is very effective. Where from several B. bassiana treatments, treatment P4 with concentration B. bassiana as much as 70 g/I was effective in suppressing S. frugiperda attacks, which can be seen from the rate of S. frugiperda attacks. Conclusion The application of the B. bassiana fungus in Lumbanri Village, Dolok Panthousand District, Simalungun Regency has a very real effect on the death of S. frugiperda. The highest mortality of S, frugiperda was found in treatment P3 with a B. bassiana concentration of 60 gr/I and P4 with a B. bassiana concentration of 70 gr/I of 100%. The application of B. bassiana in the field in reducing the percentage of S. frugiperda attacks is very effective. | en_US |
