Abstract: | Rendahnya kualitas Deterioration of Bleachability Index (DOBI), dan tingginya kadar Free Fatty Acid (FFA) dan air pada minyak kelapa sawit menandakan bahwa minyak kelapa sawit tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi. Untuk mencapai kualitas terbaik, temperatur Crude Palm Oil (CPO) harus dalam rentang 50-55℃. Temperatur juga berpengaruh pada sistem penyaluran dalam pembacaan flowmeter. Keakuratan dalam pembacaan flowmeter dibutuhkan untuk mengurangi kecurangan yaitu selisih jumlah antara minyak masuk dan keluar. Sistem kontrol dan monitoring sangat diperlukan untuk kenaikan temperatur dan pembacaan aliran pada tangki timbun. Kontrol temperatur diperlukan agar kenaikannya tidak melebihi 50℃ per harinya dan mencapai spesifikasi. Kontroler dan plant yang berjarak sekitar 15 meter memerlukan suatu sistem yang mampu dikendalikan secara jarak jauh. Konsep dan arsitektur Siemens Scada Sistem digunakan pada sistem tangki timbun yang meliputi proses unloading, penimbunan dan loading. Sistem monitoring juga digunakan pada level tangki, agar diketahuinya level maksimal dan minimal. Sistem yang dibangun mampu dilakukan secara jarak jauh dengan media komunikasi profibus. Dengan menggunakan komunikasi profibus mampu memudahkan pengaturan dan monitoring tangki CPO dan CPKO dari ruang kontrol. The low quality of Deterioration of Bleachability Index (DOBI), and high levels of Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and water in palm oil indicate that palm oil does not meet specifications. To achieve the best quality, the temperature of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) must be in the range of 50-55℃. Temperature also affects the distribution system in the flowmeter reading. Accuracy in flowmeter readings is needed to reduce fraud, namely the difference between the amount of oil entering and leaving. Control and monitoring systems are needed for temperature rise and flow readings in the storage tank. Temperature control is required so that the increase does not exceed 50℃ per day and reaches specifications. The controller and the plant which are about 15 meters away need a system that can be controlled remotely. The concept and architecture of the Siemens Scada System is used in the storage tank system which includes the unloading, stockpiling and loading processes. A monitoring system is also used at the tank level, so that the maximum and minimum levels are known. The system built can be done remotely with Profibus communication media. By using Profibus communication, it is able to facilitate the arrangement and monitoring of CPO and CPKO tanks from the control room. |
