dc.description.abstract | Serangga merupakan golongan hewan yang dominan di permukaan bumi melebihi semua hewan melata daratan lainnya dan penyebarannya terdapat dimana-mana. Semakin banyak tempat dengan berbagai ekosistem maka terdapat jenis serangga yang beragam. Serangga menempati habitat disemua daerah di atas permukaan bumi, mereka hidup sebagai pemakan tumbuhan, dan hewan lainnya. Perkebunan kelapa sawit merupakan ekosistem yang didominasi satu jenis tanaman monokultur dan dapat menjadi habitat bagi serangga yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis serangga yang terdapat pada tanaman kelapa sawit di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Kebun Sei Putih Kecamatan Galang. Pengambilan sampel serangga dilakukan dengan metode penyemprotan dengan isektisida Matador 25EC pada 4 titik sebanyak 16 pohon. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 17 genus serangga yang dikelompokan kedalam 15 famili dan 7 ordo. Serangga yang paling banyak di temukan adalah Ordo Hymenoptera : Genus Oecophylla sebanyak 193 individu dan paling sedikit dari Ordo Lepidoptera : Genus Hipolimnas, Erionota sebanyak 2 individu. Insects are the dominant group of animals on the surface of the earth above all other terrestrial reptiles and they are found everywhere. The more places with various ecosystems, the more diverse types of insects there are. Insects occupy habitats in all areas above the earth's surface, they live as eaters of plants and other animals. Oil palm plantations are ecosystems dominated by one type of monoculture plant and can be a habitat for insects which greatly influence the success of oil palm cultivation. This research aims to determine the insects found on oil palm plants at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Sei Putih Garden, Galang District. Insect sampling was carried out by spraying with the insecticide Matador 25EC at 4 points on 16 trees. The research results found 17 insect genera grouped into 15 families and 7 orders. The insects found most often were from the Hymenoptera Order: Genus Oecophylla with 193 individuals and the fewest were from the Lepidoptera Order: Genus Hipolimnas, Erionota with 2 individuals. | en_US |
