dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keadaan Simpangan Jalan Kol Yos Sudarso Km 17,5 - Jl Titi Pahlawan, Medan Marelan yang sangat padat ditambah lagi dengan kondisi simpang yang tak bersinyal akan berpotensi besar pada kemacetan dan kecelakaan di kemudian hari.Dasar yang digunakan untuk menganalisa hasil penelitian dan perhitungan adalah Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Survei yang dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan LHR dan jam puncak tertinggi pada hari minggu, yaitu 1255,8 skr/jam dan jam puncak pada 06.00-07.00 dan 15.00-16.00 dengan volume lalu lintas tersibuk terjadi pada hari Minggu dengan jumlah kendaraan sebesar volume kendaraan 22887 ken/jam. Dari hasil analisis kondisi eksisting nilai kapasitas C = 7344,290 skr/jam dan derajat kejenuhan DJ = 1, 94 dengan tundaan simpang DJ >1 maka DG adalah 4. Hasil ini memberikan gambaran bahwaarus jalan secara keseluruhan terhambat, kecepatan rendah dengan derajat kejenuhan masuk kedalam tinggat pelayanan F. This research was motivated by the condition of the intersection at Kol Yos Sudarso Km 17.5 - Jl Titi Pahlawan Medan Marelan which is very congested, plus the condition of the intersection without a signal has a big potential for traffic jams and accidents on this road. future. The basis used to analyze research results and calculations is the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI). The research method used is a survey conducted for one week with the highest LHR and peak hours on Sundays, namely 1255.8 cur/hour and peak hours at 06.00-07.00 and 15.00-16.00 with the busiest traffic volume occurring on Sunday with a vehicle volume of 22887 ken/hour. From the results of the analysis of existing conditions, it was obtained that the capacity value C = 7344,290 cur/hour and the degree of saturation DJ = 1.94 with the intersection delay DJ > 1, then DG is 4.
