Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan tayangan Infotainment Insert di TransTV terhadap tingkat literasi media ibu rumah tangga. Penting bagi masyarakat untuk memahami secara mendalam informasi yang diterima, terutama ibu rumah tangga sebagai audiens utama, agar dapat menyaring informasi yang diperoleh dari Infotainment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Ibu rumah tangga di dusun 6 desa Cinta Rakyat Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang sebanyak 296 orang, dengan sampel 74 orang yang diambil menggunakan rumus Simple Random Sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dan untuk teknik keabsahan data digunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi pearson, uji normalitas dan uji t. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan terhadap variabel x terhadap variabel y melalui uji korelasi pearson yaitu sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara variabel x terhadap variabel y. pearson correlation sebesar 0,418 dilihat pada pedoman yaitu berarti kategori korelasi sedang. Hasil uji normalitas diketahui nilai signifikansi yaitu 0,200 yang berarti lebih dari 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai residual terdistribusi normal. Hasil dari uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 5% diperoleh nilai t tabel sebesar 1,993 nilai t hitung diperoleh sebesar 3,904 jadi (3,904 > 1,993) maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil uji t membuktikan sehingga dapat disimpulkan variabel tayangan Infotainment berhubungan signifikan secara parsial terhadap variabel Tingkat literasi media. Kategori tingkat literasi media Ibu rumah tangga termasuk ke dalam kategori medium. This research aims to explain the relationship between Insert Infotainment broadcasts on TransTV and the media literacy level of housewives. It is important for the public to deeply understand the information they receive, especially housewives as the main audience, so they can filter the information obtained from Infotainment. The population in this study was 296 housewives in Hamlet 6, Cinta Rakyat Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, with a sample of 74 people taken using the Simple Random Sampling formula. The method used in this research is a quantitative method and for data validity techniques, validity tests and reliability tests are used. For data analysis techniques using the Pearson correlation test, normality test and t test. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, documentation and observation. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between variable x and variable y through the Pearson correlation test, namely 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be said that there is a relationship between variable x and variable y. Pearson correlation of 0.418 is seen in the guidelines, which means the correlation category is medium. The normality test results show that the significance value is 0.200, which means more than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the residual value is normally distributed. The results of the t test with a significance level of 5% obtained a t table value of 1.993. The calculated t value was obtained at 3.904 so (3.904 > 1.993) then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The results of the t test prove that it can be concluded that the Infotainment broadcast variable has a partially significant relationship to the media literacy level variable. Housewives' media literacy level category is included in the medium category.
