Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran kecerdasan emosi terhadap work life balance dengan dukungan keluarga sebagai variabel mediator pada pegawai Stauan Polisi Pamong Praja di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan SEM-PLS sebagai teknik analisis data. Sebanyak 223 pegawai Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja di Kota Medan dan Binjai berpartisipasi sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala kecerdasan emosi, skala work life balance dan skala dukungan keluarga. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh ada pengaruh kecerdasan emosi terhadap dukungan keluarga dengan T-Statistics 6,766>1.96 dan P-Values 0.0000<0.05, ada pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap work life balance dengan nilai T-Statistics sebesar 4,034>1.96 dan P-Values 0,0000<0,05, ada pengaruh kecerdasan emosi terhadap work life balance dengan nilai T-Statistics sebesar 2,950>1.96 dan P-Values 0.003<0,05, serta dukungan keluarga signifikan memediasi hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dan work life balance dengan nilai P-Values sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Temuan lain yang diperoleh dari penelitian berdasarkan pengkategorisasian kecerdasan emosi, work life balance dan dukungan keluarga, ketiga variabel berada pada kategori sedang. This research aims to examine the role of emotional intelligence on work-life balance with family support as a mediator variable for Civil Service Police Station employees in North Sumatra. This research uses quantitative methods with SEM-PLS as a data analysis technique. A total of 223 Civil Service Police Unit employees in Medan and Binjai City participated as subjects in this research. The measuring instruments used are the emotional intelligence scale, work-life balance scale and family support scale. Based on the research results, it was found that there was an influence of emotional intelligence on family support with T-Statistics 6.766>1.96 and P-Values 0.0000<0.05, there was an influence of family support on work-life balance with T-Statistics values of 4.034>1.96 and P-Values 0.0000<0.05, there is an influence of emotional intelligence on work-life balance with a T-Statistics value of 2,950>1.96 and a P-Values of 0.003<0.05, and family support significantly mediates the relationship between emotional intelligence and work-life balance with a P-Values of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. Thus, this research hypothesis is accepted. Another finding obtained from research are based on the categorization of emotional intelligence, work life balance and family support, all three variables are in the moderate category.
