Abstract: | Kapasitas aliran minyak CPO berhubun.gan t.erhadap kinerja pompa gear pump. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untulc menganalisis pengaruh kapasitas t1erhadap ldnerja pompa gear pump, serta membandingkan kinerja pompa saat pentransferan minyak CPO. Metode yang digunakan dal.am penelitian ini adaJah metode kuantitaf. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dilakukan dengan cara observasi, melakukan pengukuran dan pengambilan data. Hasil penelitian ini adalab kapasitas (Q) pompa. didapat sebesar 0,00833 m3/s dengan jenis aliran turbulen dilcarenakan nilai Reynold Num'ber Re>4000. Perbitungan head total pada gear pump berkisar 1l,11 m dengan tekanan pompa adalah 0,94 bar, daya pompa adalah 10t8 kW dan efesiensi pada pompa sebesar 36 % sedangkan penelitian sebelumnya didapat hasil kapasitas pompa 0,0181 m3/s, head total 14,507 m, daya pompa 5,4 kW, clan nilai efesiaosi pompa sebesar 42,70%. Perbandingan kinerja pompa I dengan kinerja pompa 2 disebabkan dari kapasitas pompa yang berbeda antara pompa l clan pompa 2 dan daya pompa, head pompa sehingga nilai ef esiensi kedua pomp a yang di dapat berbeda. The flow capacity of CPO oil is correlated with the performance of the gear pump. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of capacity on the performance of the gear pump and to compare the pump~ performance during CPO oil transfer. The method used in this research was quantitative. Data collection techniques included observation, measurement, and data collection. The results of this research indicated that the pump capacity (Q) was 0. 00833 m'ls with a turbulent flow type due to the Reynolds Number Re>4000. The calculated total head on the gear pump was around 11.11 m, with a pump pressure of 0.94 bar, pump power of 0.8 kW, and pump efficiency of 36%. In previous research, the pump capacity was 0.0181 m3/s, the total head was 14.507 m, pump power was 5.4 kW, and pump efficiency was 42. 70%. The perfonnance difference between pump 1 and pump 2 was due to the different capacities between the two pumps and variations in pump power and head, resulting in different efficiency values |
