Abstract: | Bukit Sibea-bea adalah destinasi wisata yang terletak di Kabupaten Samosir. Objek wisata ini dikelola oleh Yayasan Jadilah Terang Danau Toba dan tidak memiliki kerjasama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Samosir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Yayasan Jadilah Terang Danau Toba dalam mempromosikan objek wisata Patung Tuhan Yesus di Bukit Sibea-bea. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi yayasan tersebut dalam upaya mempopulerkan objek wisata tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, di mana data yang dikumpulkan bukan berupa angka, melainkan naskah, hasil wawancara, dan data resmi dari lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang dilakukan dalam upaya meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung ke Bukit Sibea-bea sudah cukup efektif, terutama melalui manajemen komunikasi pemasaran yang dikelola oleh Yayasan Jadilah Terang Danau Toba, khususnya dalam promosi lewat media sosial. Sibea-bea Hill is a tourist destination located in Samosir Regency. This tourist attraction is managed by the Jadilah Terang Lake Toba Foundation and has no collaboration with the Samosir Regency Government. This research aims to measure the effectiveness of communication carried out by the Jadi Terang Danau Toba Foundation in promoting the tourist attraction of the Statue of the Lord Jesus on Sibea-bea Hill. Apart from that, this research also aims to identify the obstacles faced by the foundation in its efforts to popularize this tourist attraction. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, where the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but manuscripts, interview results and official data from the research location. The research results show that the communication carried out in an effort to increase the number of visitors to Sibea-bea Hill has been quite effective, especially through marketing communications management managed by the Jadilah Terang Danau Toba Foundation, especially in promotions via social media. |
