dc.description.abstractDalam budidaya tanaman padi masih banyak terdapat kekurangan dari segi hasil atau produksi. Dimana hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti salah satunya adalah hama nematoda. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penanganan lebih lanjut. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang meningkat dan aktifitas antimikroba dari tanaman padi pandanwangi yang terserang nematoda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode experimental dan deskriptif dengan mengamati perubahan yang terjadi pada sampel seperti perubahan warna dan terbentuknya buih serta melihat kadar total senyawa alkaloid ,flavonoid ,tanin, dan saponin. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non factorial dengan 2 taraf perlakuan yaitu :A0 : Tanpa perlakuan NPA. A1 : Diberi perlakuan NPA. Sampel yang digunakan adalah bagian atas tanaman padi (batang dan daun) dan bagian akar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium teknologi bioproses Politeknik Teknologi Kimia Industri (PTKI) Medan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kandungan metabolit sekunder tanaman padi pandanwangi yang terserang nematoda puru akar Meloidogyne graminicola positif mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, dan saponin. Dengan kadar tertinggi terdapat pada senyawa tanin sampel akar dengan nilai kandungan sebesar 175,651 Mg GAE/gr dan kadar kandungan terendah terdapat pada senyawa flavonoid sampel akar dengan nilai kandungan sebesar 12,577 Mg QE/gr. Dan untuk uji aktifitas antimikroba menunjukkan adanya aktifitas antibakteri ditandai dengan terbentuknya zona bening disekeliling kertas cakram. Jn rice cultivation, there are still many, deficiencies in terms of results or production. Where this is caused by several factors such as one of them is nematode pests. So it is necessary to do further handling. The purpose of the research was to determine the content of secondary metabolite compounds that increased and the antimicrobial activity of pandanwangi rice plants attacked by nematodes. This research used experimental and descriptive methods by observing changes that occur in samples such as color changes and the formation of foam and seeing the total levels of alkaloid compounds,flavonoids, tannins, and saponins. The research design used was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 levels of treatment, namely: AO: Without NPA treatment. Al: Given NPA treatment. The samples used were the upper part of the rice plant (stems and Leaves) and the roots. This research was conducted in the bioprocess technology laboratory of the Industrial Chemical Technology Polytechnic (PTKJ) .Medan. The results of this research indicate that the secondary metabolite content of pandanwangi rice plants attacked by root knot nematodes Meloidogyne graminicola positively contains alkaloids,jlavonoids, tannins, and saponins. With the highest levels found in tannin compounds of root samples with a content value o.f 175.651 Mg GAE I gr and the lowest content levels found inflavonoid compounds of root samples with a content value of 12.577 Mg QE I gr. And for the antimicrobial activity test, it showed antibacterial activity marked by the formation of a clear zone around the disc paper.en_US
