Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian asap cair sebagai pestisida nabati terhadap hama ulat grayak (Spodoptera exigua Hubner) yang menyerang tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L). Penelitian dilaksanakan kebun hidroponik Sayur Kelen Pasar I Tanjung Selamat Dusun V Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu: (1) Faktor perlakuan instar larva Spodoptera exigua (I) terdiri dari 2 taraf, I1= instar 3 larva Spodoptera exigua dan I2= instar 4 larva Spodoptera exigua (2) Faktor pemberian pestisida nabati asap cair tempurung kelapa terdiri dari 5 taraf, A0= tanpa perlakuan, A1= konsentrasi 5%, A2= konsentrasi 7%, A3= konsentrasi 9%, A4= konsentrasi 11% dengan 3 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah persentase mortalitas, intesitas serangan, analisis probit LC50 dan LT50, persentase larva menjadi pupa dan pengamatan morfologi pupa menjadi imago. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Faktor konsentrasi asap cair tempurung kelapa berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap mortalitas hama Spodoptera exigua pada tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L) dengan persentase mortalitas tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan A3 dengan konsentrasi 9% yaitu sebesar 100%. Nilai LC50 pestisida nabati asap cair tempurung kelapa yaitu 6,69% dan nilai LT50 terbaik yaitu 5 hari. Kombinasi antara konsentrasi asap cair dan faktor instar tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap mortalitas hama Spodoptera exigua pada tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) This study aims to determine the effect of applying liquid smoke as a botanical pesticide on the gray armyworm (Spodoptera exigua Hubner) that attacks shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). The research was conducted at the Sayur Kelen Hydroponic Garden, Pasar I Tanjung Selamat, Dusun V, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. The design used in this study was a factorial completely randomized design consisting of two treatment factors: (1) The treatment factor of Spodoptera exigua larval instar (I) consisting of two levels, I1 = third instar larva of Spodoptera exigua and I2 = fourth instar larva of Spodoptera exigua, and (2) The application factor of coconut shell liquid smoke botanical pesticide consisting of five levels, A0 = no treatment, A1 = 5% concentration, A2 = 7% concentration, A3 = 9% concentration, A4 = 11% concentration, with three replications. The parameters observed in this study were mortality percentage, attack intensity, probit analysis of LC50 and LT50, percentage of larvae becoming pupae, and observation of pupa morphology transitioning to adult (imago). The results showed that the concentration of coconut shell liquid smoke significantly affected the mortality of Spodoptera exigua pests on shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.), with the highest mortality rate observed in the A3 treatment, with a 9% concentration resulting in 100% mortality. The LC50 value of the coconut shell liquid smoke botanical pesticide was 6.69%, and the best LT50 value was 5 days. The combination of liquid smoke concentration and larval instar factor did not have a significant effect on the mortality of Spodoptera exigua pests on shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). |
